By Evner Coligny

In a decisive move to address one of Haiti's most pressing issues, newly installed Prime Minister Garry Conille has pledged a firm stance against corruption within his government. Speaking at the installation ceremony held at the Villa d'Accueil on Wednesday, Conille made it clear that there will be "zero tolerance against corruption." His message to his ministers was unequivocal: the state's scarce resources must be managed diligently and used for the benefit of the Haitian population.

"Zero tolerance against corruption! This is not just a slogan; it is a commitment," Conille asserted, setting the tone for his administration. His strong words aim to reassure the public and the international community of his dedication to rooting out corruption, which has long plagued Haiti's political and economic systems.
